Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Director to join their client's warehouse operations team in the Denver Metro Area. This role is integral in leading and inspiring a team to meet daily operational goals with efficiency and enthusiasm, contributing directly to the success of warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead & Inspire: Motivate and mentor the team to achieve daily objectives with energy and teamwork.
- Manage Warehouse Operations: Oversee workflows, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.
- Provide Hands-On Support: Collaborate with leads and team members on the floor to complete orders and pack shipments.
- Drive Efficiency: Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations and boost productivity.
- Resolve Issues Quickly: Address employee concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a positive, team-focused environment.
- Communicate Expectations: Clearly outline daily goals and performance standards to ensure team alignment and accountability.
- Stay Agile: Make quick decisions and reallocate team members as needed to respond to real-time challenges.
Qualifications
- Leadership Experience: At least 1 year in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Effective Communication: Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
- Organizational Excellence: Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Decisive Problem Solver: Confident in making smart, quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
- People Developer: Passion for coaching and mentoring team members to reach their full potential.
- Physical Endurance: Able to stand and walk for up to 95% of the shift.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- 2+ years of overall warehouse experience.
- Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Sunday, 1st Shift
